About

HaloSkate 3 runs the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign in a browser using a WebAssembly build of OpenCE, a CC0 decompilation of the Xbox version. Pressing B drops Master Chief onto a board driven by a C++ port of skate-core, the reverse-engineered skating logic from skate-3-rust-engine.

Halo's own collision answers the board's ray casts, and grind rails are derived automatically from each level's collision. Kills made in the middle of a trick land in the combo.

The project states it was built with AI. Maps are not hosted in the repo; the page loads clean-room maps from the halo-cleanroom project, and no retail art, audio or video ships. It is a fan project: Halo is by Microsoft/Bungie and Skate 3 by Electronic Arts.
